One of the exciting things about adding more users and implementing new features is that at some point, you also need to add more team members to make the site even better. Building up a team is one of the great pleasures of being part of any organization.
That’s why we’ve just announced a new Developer position here at Yipit.
Currently, at 5 full-time employees, we get an amazing amount of work done – we’re all very motivated. Nonetheless, we need to keep growing our technical base. We’ve been using a ton of fun technologies here including:
- RabbitMQ
- Ubuntu
- Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, ec2, CloudFront)
- Celery
- Django
- Python
- jQuery
- And many more …
We try to keep our codebase as simple and generalized as possible – but there are plenty of exciting new features coming down the pipe and we need new people to hop on board and be part of the latest and greatest Yipit.
