As part of aggregating all the Daily Deals, we have compiled a list of US daily deal companies.
As of June, we’re tracking than 120 different companies creating deals, together publishing more than 300 different daily deals across the US.
There is a new row for each location of each location of each Daily Deal Service. The columns are for various attributes of these daily deal services:
- Caps Deal?: does this service usually sell only a limited quantity of vouchers
- Shows Count: does this service display the number of deals sold. The options are “Yes” (like Groupon), “No” (like Lifebooker Loot, never displays count), “Until deal tips” (like BuyWithMe, does not display count once deal has tipped).
- Vertical: does this have a vertical focus (like restaurants, bars, high-end).
- Funding: how much has this company raised and who has invested.
- Has iPhone App?: Does this service offer an iPhone app
We’ll try to keep this list as up to date as possible. The competitive landscape in this market changes extremely rapidly, so please leave a comment or email us (info at yipit dot com) if you see any errors or if we’re missing anything.
